July 13, 2012

Greetings!

There are only about two weeks left in Summer Reading... just two weeks to finish your reading, complete your reading logs and turn them in for credit.   Summer Reading runs through July 31. Four programs serve all ages.

DREAM BIG is the youth program, with two comPicture of libraryponents:

Read to Me is for youth who have parents, caregivers or older siblings read books to them. Those who complete the program receive a reading certificate and a glow-in-the-dark beach ball. Readers is the program for those who read on their own. Those who complete the program receive a reading medal.

OWN THE NIGHT is the teen program, for those in grades 7-12. Teens may earn points by reading and also by attending programs, making them eligible to win the grand prize: an 8 gb iPod Touch!
