Webinar:
Managing Your Digital Footprint: How Online Reputations Impact Future Scholarship, College and Job Prospects - June 14, 2012

Presented by: Dan Kent and Don Kent, Net Literacy

Internet safety is a topic that continues to evolve as teens interact with the Internet in new ways and as the consequences of their online behavior increase. Because teens' online reputations can seriously affect scholarship, college, and job prospects, it's vital that they know how to manage their "digital footprints." As a youth worker, you can help them.

This interactive webinar will highlight new ways to start challenging discussions about Internet safety issues with teens. You'll be supplied with online resources and a training exercise that helps teens teach other teens about the importance of being safe on the Internet.

We'll conclude with a look towards Internet safety challenges in the future - both for teens and for youth-serving organizations.

June 14, 2012
Time: 12:00 p.m - 1:30 p.m. (Central)
The webinar is free to those who serve Indiana youth; $30 to those who do not.
