The Hammond Public Library is conducting a liquidation sale of furnishings and equipment
from its recently closed branches:
 
WHAT: Furnishings and equipment sale
WHEN: Thursday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Howard Branch, 7047 Grand Ave.
(just south of Morton High School), and
E. B. Hayward Branch, 1212 - 172nd St.
(corner of 172nd & Columbia).

  • Sale is CASH ONLY.
  • Among items included are shelving, tables, chairs, desks, and display cases.
  • Sale does not include books, audio or visual materials.
  • Sales are on a first-come basis; no previews. 
  • All items sold as-is. All sales are final. No returns or exchanges.
  • Bring your own tools and truck. We will not dismantle or deliver items.
  • We will not hold unpaid items. Reasonable accommodations may be made for the pick-up of purchased items.
  • The selection and style of items will vary at each location, so visit both branches to browse all the items.
