Take the stairs or the elevator; head toward the Info Desk, and turn leftat the copier. Tri-Kappa conducts its annual Prom Dress Resale on March 17. The library serves as a collection site for gently used formal wear. Items may be brought to the front desk from February 27 to March 15. Receipts are given, if requested, for tax purposes. Holiday hours: The library will be closed Mon., Feb. 20 for Presidents Day, and also Tues., March 6 for staff training. Quiz/Essay contest: HPL celebrates African American History Month with a program Thursday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. "Making Our Voices Heard" features a performance by the Golden Tones.
