BOOKS TO BRIDGE THE REGION thanks all educators who participated in 2011. For 2012, we are exploring books in which a main character is a "fish out of water" or must face an unfamiliar situation (immigrant experience, a change of school, or any situation in which the person feels "different"). We know that your schedules keep you from actively serving on a committee, but educator input is very important to us.
We normally select three books: one picture book for young children; a book for middle school-10th grade; and an adult book for grades 11 and aboe.If you have books that you would like to recommend, or if you wish to volunteer to read some books under consideration, please send your suggestions and information to books2bridge@gmail.com
