Vol. 9:21   Oct. 29, 2010
Greetings!

Friends of the Library and the Hammond Historical Society plan a joint meeting on Saturday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at Main Library. "The History of the Circus in Indiana" is presented by Kreig Adkins, author of Peru: Circus Capital of the World, and Richard Lytle, author of The Great Circus Train Wreck of 1918: Tragedy Along the Indiana Lakeshore.

The meeting is open to members of both groups, and to the public. Both groups accept new members on that day, and offer publications and other items for sale. The authors will sign copies of their books, which will be available for purchase.
