10/1 TIME OUT FOR READING

10/7 READ FOR THE RECORD: Jumpstart's Read for the Recordİ, presented in partnership with Pearson, is a world record breaking campaign that brings children and adults together to read the same book, on the same day, in homes and communities all over the world. The campaign kicks off Jumpstart's yearlong program, preparing preschool children in low-income neighbor-hoods for success in school and life. At Main Library, Miss Melody has pledged to read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats to any children who come in after school.
