Greetings!
I trust you're well and have settled back into your routine by now. I also hope you had time to enjoy a summer break. It really does go quickly!
The cast members of our casa embarked on a somewhat epic roots-related journey to Scotland & Ireland - billed as the 'Castles, Kilts & Leprechauns Summer Tour 2012.'
The four-week adventure was both extremely exciting & exhaustively extreme. We stormed 10 castles and conquered 2000 miles of the narrowest, windiest roads from the Highlands to the Aran Islands.
My portable VO studio allowed me to accommodate clients and then return to the Irish countryside just a few feet out the door.
Among other things on the too-ra-loo-ra-loo-to-do list was kissing the Blarney Stone again for a "gift of the gab" top-up. So I was rarin' & ready to talk it up upon returning to the home studio.
I'd like to share recent voice over highlights in the articles below.
As for our July highlights to share with you from start to finish - just click here (Pot o' gold not included)

Talk about HIGH-lights...
For man-made structures they don't get much higher than 1,815 ft - a height which
solidified Toronto's
CN Tower Guinness Book status as the world's tallest tower from 1976-2010.
Last month I took my voice over career to new heights as I became one of the audio hosts on the CN Tower's newly-launched vGuide - a sky-high virtual tour guide via a hand-held audio device. vGuide details here
Cool factor: my mother took me to 360 Restaurant for lunch on my 14th birthday just weeks after the tower opened 36 years ago! She would have got a kick out of this gig.
Next time you're in Toronto allow me to show you around. Or at least let me tell you where to go. Nicely, of course.

A Short Path to Destruction
* * * * *
Dr. Professor's Thesis of Evil, produced by a studio in Finland was selected as the only Nordic entry for the Los Angeles short-film series LA SHORTS FEST The dark comedy, set in the world of superheroes, gigantic mutant koalas & death rays sets a corner stone in the new world of original motion novels - a fascinating combination of photography, 3D graphics & animation.
I supplied the voice of the news anchor and pulled out my Bavarian accent for the maniacal German officer - a character as nefarious as the demented doctor himself. It was a full house for the September 6th opening night screening where the twisted tale was well received. Of course it was. Who wants to be on the business end of a death ray?!
