My last note to you was at the start of summer

road trip which went by quickly once again. I hope you had a chance to enjoy some down time. Look, you're taking time off right now just reading this. That's good. This is a special moment we're sharing.

We commandeered a road trip in July from Toronto to Montreal & Vermont en route to New York State.

Numbers racked up like so: 3 weeks,
3 provinces, 2 states, 4000km, 1 metric tonne of ice cream. See some of those escapades by clicking here.
Manhattan

When mid-August rolled around I was called to go to New York City again. It was simply my love for the Big Apple calling but I had to answer. That short adventure was captured for posterity as 'The 4 Days in NYC - Forgot to Pack the Kids' trip.

Leading up to, following and even during all that gallivanting around I had to maintain the biz empire. Below are some voice over/acting highlights that allowed yours truly to facilitate a demanding summertime ice cream budget for a 3yr old & 5yr old.

While technically on holiday in Grapes

July I was also scheduled to
shoot a small television movie role.

'Keep Your Head Up Kid' is a sequel & continuation of the life story of the gentleman pictured on the right. The one not wearing the hairpiece.

For my Canadian friends & associates, he needs no introduction. For my stateside friends and colleagues, he used to coach the Boston Bruins and with his iconic popularity north of the 49th could probably give the Prime Minister a run for his money . His name is Don Cherry. Full story here.

Multi-Nation Translation
With a few plates already spinning, int'l management

a valued client of seven years from D.C.
presented me with a massive multi-
language project in July & August.

I managed translation & voice over requirements for a 30-minute online narration in 18 languages.
(Ed. note:I believe this officially qualifies me for a seat at the UN.)

If you require a project completed in another language we can take your call. If the person on the other end answers in Mongolian it's just me practicing. I'm focused like that.

Villainous Voice Over ToE

Although my international project
featured German as one of the languages recorded I don't sprechen sie Deutsch myself. However, I'm fairly competent at pulling off a German accent for character voice work - booking VO jobs in the past for character roles in the History Television series Greatest Tank Battles.

Last month came another opportunity to break out my inner Bavarian for the film Dr. Professors Thesis of Evil. The movie will set a corner stone in the new world of original motion novels, a fascinating combination of photography, 3D graphics and animation. Read more
