 The'Thank You' Edition

Casual Headshot

SaVoa

Greetings!
I hope you're healthy and happy on that end.  Things keep motoring on this end.  So, in this issue:
  • We'll 'Keep on Truckin'
  • I'll introduce you to 'Mike'
  • My official reason to thank you;
  • And, I have a couple of fun things to share...

Yes, fun follows me around.  Her name is Teaghan.  At three-and-a-half years of age she recently shot her television debut with Trace Pictures.

Cool factor: Dad was also cast as her, wait for it....'father' in the same children's TV promo soon to air in the U.S.

BREAKER BREAKER!
HELLO "NEUMANN"
THANK YOU!
YA DON'T SAY!
VOICE OVER LINKS
"BREAKER-BREAKER!"
I had the opportunity to lend my voice to a video for the folks at the American Truck Historical Society.  The client requested I put a little southern "grit 'n' gravel" in my delivery for this particular project as you'll hear by clicking here.

                                              ******
Vintage wheels is a theme I can relate to as a once proud owner of a 1963 Ford Falcon sedan delivery.  Pictured below is my fine, so-bright-it-could-be-seen-from-Mars 1951 Chev half-ton pickup.  (The vehicle was from the 50's but my hair was pure eighties!)

Levity aside, the GM truck plant in Oshawa, Ontario, (near Toronto) shut down last week after 44 years, churning out over 10 million heavy duty vehicles for North America since 1965.  Yet another speed bump, road block, dead end and myriad other metaphor related barriers the auto industry has hit lately.  Here's to turning a corner soon.
"HELLO 'NEUMANN' "
Neumann
Well, I said I'd introduce you to "Mike".  That's him on the right. He's short and stout, but crystal clean.  Picks up everything!

My subterranean home studio's latest addition: a Neumann TLM 103 microphone making everything sound nicer for new and returning clients:

THANK YOU!

CCI'd hardly call it a knighthood but I just received a nice little feather in my marketing cap, being declared a 'Constant Contact All Star' by the very same people that have helped me send these digital newsletters for over 4 years.

Why an 'All Star'?  Because: "You've communicated regularly with your customers and members and they're clearly interested in hearing from you!"

I send these updates to approximately 1000 clients, associates, prospective clients, family and friends every couple of months.  So I'd like to thank YOU for allowing me to stay in touch.

YA DON'T SAY!  ACTUALLY, A CLIENT RECENTLY SAID:

"Your ability to understand and articulate difficult concepts was quite impressive. The recording process was painless, project communication excellent, turnaround was speedy and the final quality was very high. Thanks, Rory, for making our first eLearning project a home run."
