Greetings! I hope you've been keeping well. This is my first update in a few months. If you're a long standing contact, you're aware I provide exceptional voice over and on-camera services from the IMedge Communications studios. If you're relatively new to this network I welcome you and hope I can be of service very soon. I host many corporate productions but also have my foot in the acting circle. In television commercials and film roles I usually find myself playing news anchors or reporters. And recent experiences haven't broken the pattern. This past Saturday night I portrayed a Boston news reporter in the controversial Showtime movie, 'Our Fathers', starring Christopher Plummer, Brian Dennehy, Ted Danson, Ellen Burstyn and, well, me (OK, not so much 'starring'). This past Sunday morning I was on location in downtown Toronto playing a reporter in the production "Murder in the Hamptons". Tonight on TV it's The Donald biopic - 'Trump Unauthorized'. I play? Wait for it. Yes! I'm the reporter in the Aspen ski chalet scene. I appear for approximately 25 seconds and doesn't that warrant a press release? Get the corn a poppin' and tune in tonight at 9:00 (ABC). Rory O'Shea
There's a new look for our website. People have always commented on how seamlessly they could navigate the site. That ease and convenience remains. Plus, we've updated and expanded the audio demo section to showcase specific narrative specialties and services. The on-camera and voice over video demos are now streaming videos. The visual quality is superb. There's even a BLOG to provide some behind-the- scenes commentary about the death defying world of voiceovers as well as being on stage and on- camera. We welcome your comments and suggestions (see below) ![]()
The website isn't the only thing with a changing appearance. It really was time for me to get new personal headshots taken. I admit I was putting off the inevitable. Everytime I got NEW copies of my OLD casting photos it was my version of the fountain of youth; or was, until I realized it bordered on false advertising! Before being accused of misrepresenting myself I arranged a new photo session. I'm not saying that since my last pictures were issued I had morphed into some sort of circus freak but they WERE from the last millennium! O.K., so it was only 1998...but people have been charged with fraud for less! If you're looking for someone to host your next corporate production on stage, on DVD or online, some of the looks I can bring to your presentation are featured below. ![]()
