Miami Condominium Sales Rise 43 Percent in 3Q

Miami, FL – In the Miami Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), sales of homes – including existing single-family homes and condominiums – increased 21 percent in the third quarter of 2010 compared to the third quarter of 2009 and 73 percent compared to the third quarter of 2008. This rise marks nine consecutive quarters of increasing sales according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service. Full Story


Broward Home Sales and Inventory Drop in 3Q

Miami, FL – In the Fort Lauderdale Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), sales of homes – including existing single-family homes and condominiums – decreased 13 percent in the third quarter of 2010 compared to the third quarter of 2009 but were 31 percent higher compared to the third quarter of 2008, according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service. Miami, FL – Total cumulative pending home sales – including single-family homes and condominiums - in Miami-Dade County increased 23.6 percent in October compared to October 2009, from 8,304 to 10,264, and increased .44 percent, up from 10,219, compared to the previous month according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service (SEFMLS). Broward Pending Condominium Sales Continue to Rise

Miami, FL – Total cumulative pending home sales – including single-family homes and condominiums - in Broward County increased 5.33 percent in October compared to October 2009, from 7,266 to 7,653, and decreased .86 percent, from 7,719, compared to the previous month according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service (SEFMLS). Miami Existing Condominium Sales Continue to Rise
Single-Family Home Sale Prices Hold Steady

Miami, FL – In the Miami Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), there was a 36 percent increase in condominium sales in September compared to the same month in 2009 and a 136 percent increase compared to two years ago, when sales were already rising, according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service (SEFMLS). This was the highest increase in condominium sales of any major metropolitan area in Florida. Full Story

Broward Home Sales Price Rises

Miami, FL – Median sales price of single-family homes in the Fort Lauderdale Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) increased seven percent to $214,200 compared to September 2009, furthering the strengthening market trend. Full Story

Miami, FL – Total cumulative pending home sales – including single-family homes and condominiums - in Miami-Dade County increased 28.6 percent in September compared to September 2009, from 7,944 to 10,219, and increased one percent, from 10,119 to 10,219, compared to the previous month according to the MIAMI Association of REALTORS and the Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service (SEFMLS).
