Apples at Carter Mountain 
Our Fuji crop has been fantastic this year, and there is still time to pick your own! The weatherman promises warm temperatures and no rain this weekend, so if you haven't gotten your fill yet, come on out!
We have lots of pre-picked apples as well, and a visit to the Apple barn Country Store will include apple butter, apple cider (buy plenty for winter - you can freeze it!), jams and jellies, local crafts, seasonal gifts, and much more. We've got some fall items on sale now, and our mums are 3/$10! Holiday shopping opportunities galore!
Need a wonderful, easy dessert for your Thanksgiving feast? Our bakery is still taking orders for our fabulous apple pie! Stop by the bakery this weekend, or just give us a call at 434-977-1833, and we will take care of it for you! 
The Mountain Grill is open on Saturdays and Sundays with breakfast and lunch foods (have you tried our delicious Barbecue, made with our own Peachy BBQ Sauce?) !
At trip to Carter Mountain is now not complete with out a stop in our Wine Shop and Tasting Room! We've been growing wine grapes for several years; now you can taste and purchase these wines! Open every day from 11-5!.
Another fall tradition - take a hayride this weekend (weather permitting!). Enjoy a breathtaking ride around the orchard and see the fantastic view!

Apples at Chiles Peach Orchard 
The gorgeous weather this weekend will be perfect for apple picking! We've still got Granny Smith and Fuji apples for picking.
Ready picked apples are available every day, and we are also stocked with ready-picked pumpkins, jams and jellies, apple cider, and local crafts. It's not too early start thinking about holiday gifts!
Need a treat? Check out our gorgeous fudge-dipped apples - decorated especially for the season. And, our Apple Pie Fudge, and Pumpkin Fudge have become real favorities. Get a free sample when you come in the market!
