Pick Your Own Pink Lady Apples at
Carter Mountain Orchard 
Many of you have been patiently (!!) waiting for Pink Lady apples, and the wait is just about over! We'll start Pick Your Own Pink Lady on Saturday 10/24!
You can also still Pick Your Own Stayman, Fuji, and Jonagold apples. And for those who would rather let us do the work, there are lots of Ready-Picked apples available - Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Winesap, Rome, Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith, Stayman, Jonagold, and Albemarle Pippin, to name a few!
Don't forget to visit our Country Store, where you will find apple butter, apple cider (buy plenty for winter - you can freeze it!), jams and jellies, local crafts, seasonal gifts, and much more.
The Carter Mountain Bakery has expanded, and we are cranking out our famous Apple Cider Donuts faster than ever! If you've never tried our apple pie or apple caramel cookies, you are missing out! The bakery is open every day.
The Mountain Grill is our new addition for this season! Stop by the Grill (located in the Bakery Barn) for breakfast biscuits and lunch foods. The Grill is open Wednesday through Sunday in October, and weekends in November.
At trip to Carter Mountain is now not complete with out a stop in our Wine Shop and Tasting Room! We've been growing wine grapes for several years; now you can taste and purchase these wines! Open every day from 11-6!.
Another fall tradition - hayrides available on weekends (weather permitting!). Enjoy a breathtaking ride around the orchard and see the autumn foliage at it's peak. We still have an awesome selection of pumpkins too! Halloween is just a week away!

Pumpkins Galore at
Chiles Peach Orchard 
One week til Halloween - do you have your pumpkins yet???
Our pumpkin patch has some awesome pumpkins. Take a walk out to the field, enjoy the beauty of fall in Crozet, and select a great pumpkin for carving! While you are in the orchard, you can also Pick Your Own Granny Smith and Fuji apples!
Ready picked apples are available every day, and we are also stocked with ready-picked pumpkins, jams and jellies, apple cider, and local crafts. It's not too early start thinking about holiday gifts!
Need a treat? Check out our gorgeous fudge-dipped apples - decorated especially for the season. And, our Apple Pie Fudge, and Pumpkin Fudge have become real favorities. Get a free sample when you come in the market!
