Spring Valley Orchard
Oh, Mother Nature.....she can be friend and foe. We experienced a freeze during a critical time in the spring, and the cherries have defintely been affected. We do have cherries for picking this year; however, the crop is not as plentiful as last year. Some of the cherries are ripe now, so, here is our plan:
Spring Valley will be open THIS weekend, Saturday June 6th and Sunday June 7th, from 9-5 for cherry picking. We will then be closed until Friday, June 12th, at which time we'll follow our regular season hours (Mon-Fri from 12-6, Sat-Sun from 9-5).
You can call 434-960-9443 at any time to hear our recorded picking information. Keep checking our website for updated information as well.

Chiles Peach Orchard
What a cool, wet spring we've had! Strawberry season is coming to a close, so hurry out to get some berries (they are tasting great this week). We'll have Pick Your Own strawberries til they are all picked....check our website for updated picking information, or give us a call before you come out. Our delicious frozen yogurt, sundaes, and milkshakes (made with fresh berries) are sure to please, and did you know we now make our own homemade fudge? Try some this weekend!
We're also making our famous donuts! A new twist on a favorite recipe, we've added fresh strawberries to the batter for an early summer treat!

Carter Mountain Orchard
We're having fun on the weekends! Carter Mountain is open - come enjoy with us! We'll continue our spring hours (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10-5) until June 12th, at which time we will be open 7 days a week (Monday-Saturday 9-6, Sundays 10-5).
Stop in this weekend to browse in our Country Store, eat fresh donuts and drink cider slushies on the deck, and enjoy the view. We even still have some apples (our own, from cold storage) to get you through the summer! (You can pick up some fresh cherries, too!)
 The Carter Mountain Wine Shop and Tasting Room is open each weekend - come try and buy the delicious Carter Mountain and Prince Michel wines. We guarantee you'll find something to your liking! Stop in for a unique wine-tasting experience - we guarantee you won't find another like it anywhere around!
