Carter Mountain Orchard
Talk about spring cleaning! We've been pruning and planting in the orchard, all to make for a great experience for you. The peaches have bloomed, the apples are just starting to show their beautiful flowers, and all signs point to spring.
Inside the barn, we've been just as busy. We've cleaned and painted, put in a new ceiling and better lights, and brought in more and better inventory. This is all in anticipation of a new tradition at Carter Mountain - Spring hours! Beginning THIS Friday, April 17th, Carter Mountain Orchard will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10-5! So many of you have asked to come up on the mountain during the spring to see the bloom, shop our Country Store, and get some of our yummy baked goods. We listened, and are eagerly anticipating your visit!
Our Bakery will be fixing up some pies, cookies, and donuts! Now you can get these treats in the spring!
Carter Mountain has also joined the social networking craze. We want to keep you up to date with what's happening at the orchard. Follow our blog, and you will always know what's picking, cooking, and tasting!

Chiles Peach Orchard
We've been just as busy at Chiles Peach Orchard! We've pruned the trees, covered and uncovered the strawberry plants (depending on the weather) and are starting to get the market ready for a new season. The peach trees have been beautiful this spring, with gorgeous pink blooms.
The strawberry plants are looking great, with lots of blooms and berries. We hope the first berries will be ripe in early May.
Our market will officially open for the season on Friday, May 1st!
 We are still taking reservation for pre-school and elementary field trips for strawberry picking! Come for a day filled with education and fun! Click here for more information

Spring Valley Orchard 
Many of you visited our new location for sweet cherries, Spring Valley Orchard, last summer. We're planning to open again for cherry season, which should begin in early June.
