Summer is almost here, and that can only mean one
thing - time for peaches! Our earliest peaches have
ripened, and we will have some available for Pick
Your
Own beginning this Friday, June 16 at Chiles Peach
Orchard. Once those have been picked, our next
picking will begin around June 25th. Feel free to call
ahead to check picking conditions and availablity -
434-823-1583.
Of course, for those who prefer to let us do the
work, fresh pre-picked peaches are available each
day. We expect to have our first white peaches,
donut peaches, and nectarines available soon. Be
sure to check our selection of fresh vegetables, and
our Ice Cream Parlor is open with frozen yogurt, soft
serve ice cream, and refreshing milkshakes and ice
cream sundaes!
Carter Mountain Orchard will open for the season on
Friday, June 30th. Stay tuned for more information
and picking availability!
Chiles Peach Orchard is located on Route 691
(Jarman
Gap Road) between Crozet and Greenwood. We are
open Monday-Saturday 9-6, and Sundays 10-5. We
