Now is a great time to visit Carter Mountain
Orchard! There are lots of apples yet to be picked!
Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Stayman, Winesap,
Braeburn, York, Granny Smith, Fuji - all are ripe and
plentiful! You can also choose from these and other
varieties of pre-picked apples, including Mutsu
(Crispin), Macintosh, Gala, and Jonagold.
The Carter Mountain Bakery is open every day with
those famous apple cider donuts, apple pie, cookies,
and ice cream. We also have plenty of fresh apple
cider and apple butter. And, be sure to check out
our store, full of jams and jellies, crafts, gourmet
food products, and more.
Just arrived - a load of LARGE jack-o-lantern
pumpkins!!! Come choose your perfect pumpkin from
our awesome selection.
Tractor-pulled hayrides offered every weekend in
October, weather permitting.

Carter Mountain Orchard is located just off exit 121
from I-64, on Route 53, in Charlottesville. Adjacent
to Michie Tavern and Monticello, we are open daily
9AM-6PM.
