| Sons of Italy Scholarship Deadline is February 28! |
 Each year, the Sons of Italy Foundation (SIF) offers 10 to 12 merit-based scholarships (National Leadership Grants), ranging from $5,000 to $25,000, in a nationwide competition. The deadline for applying to this year's scholarship competition is February 28.

NBC Show Traces Italian Roots

 Beginning in February, NBC will air the second season of the hit show "Who Do You Think You Are?" During the first season, millions of viewers tuned in each week to watch the featured celebrity uncover his or her family history.

 On January 20, 2011, the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) named Albert A. DeNapoli the Business Person of Year for 2010. At the Chamber's Annual Awards dinner in Foxboro, NVCC praised Mr. DeNapoli for his "selfless giving of time and talent over the years" to NVCC and his involvement in economic and community development issues in the region.
Mr. DeNapoli is the former president of OSIA's anti-defamation arm, the Commission for Social Justice (CSJ), and is a member of the OSIA Greater Boston Renaissance Lodge in Massachusetts. Mr. DeNapoli is a civil litigator at Tarlow, Breed, Hart & Rodgers, P.C. He and his family live in Walpole, MA where he has served as a Selectman and Town Meeting Member. |
