The 22nd Annual National Education & Leadership Awards (NELA) Gala will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C.
The NELA Gala is the Sons of Italy Foundation's most important annual fund-raising and public affairs event and has traditionally been attended by the U.S president and other leaders in government, business, sports, labor, entertainment, the arts and the media.  More

| National Leadership Grant Competition Underway! |

The Sons of Italy Foundation's (SIF) nationwide scholarship competition is underway!
Each year, the SIF offers 10 to 12 merit-based scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 through the National Leadership Grant Competition. To date, the SIF has awarded nearly $47 million in scholarships to U.S. citizens of Italian descent. The winners are honored at the NELA Gala each May in Washington, D.C.
