PAR Parents!

 

We're looking for a few good parents!  Every dog deserves a loving parent...PAR Parents are the kind souls who adopt dogs from our shelter in Playa del Carmen and give them wonderful, permanent homes.  Maximus (on the right) is one of 60 dogs that has been placed in a loving, forever home since October 2011.  His smile says it all!

 

Our PAR Parents program is designed to create the best matches possible for dogs and parents alike.  We process thorough evaluations and ensure seamless transitions.  Our goal is to rescue dogs in need from the abuse and neglect that is evident in Mexico, nurse them to good health, and place them in caring homes outside the country.  Most of our PAR Parents live in the U.S. or Canada.

Rescue Update
Fuerte Is an Amazing Animal!
Wow, look at Fuerte now!  Just one month ago, this beautiful pup was slashed to the bone with a machete.  Our vets saved her eye and repaired her fractured skull.  She's healing quite well, her fur is growing back, and she's even smiling!  Fuerte is a very affectionate dog and deserves plenty of love in return.  She will soon make her way to her furever home.

PAR's Featured Pet is Lily...

Meet Lily...and what a cutie she is! Lilly is a spotted girl with beautiful markings on her face. She's medium sized, weighs 25 pounds, and is one year old. She's confident, gentle, loves to play, and gets along well with people and other dogs. Did we mention she's a cuddler, too? Lily will make a fabulous pet to the first "PAR Parent" who snatches her up!
