Hola friends and friendly strangers!

Welcome to another issue of Florida Time Forgot, an extension of Fossil Expeditions and an on-going collection of my quirky photo stories and Marisa's great art and funky illustrations.

Our lead photo is, of course, a roseatte spoonbill at sunrise.

We've got another fun gift for you this month.  If you have time and are so inclined, you might get a laugh or two out of our updated paleo tale called "Two Little Dogs and One Big Shark!".  There's no charge.  Just follow the link, click on the PDF book below and start scratching your head as you puzzle over our corny sense of humor.

You'll notice we didn't single out my mom or Marisa's mom for our Happy Mom's Day photo.  We both love our momma's immensely but wanted to include you and your Ma in our newsletter too.  Happy Ma's Day!

Everything else is self-explanatory.  We hope your visit is a fun and educational one!

Bestus,

Mark and Marisa Renz

Movin' on in and Movin' on up!

In our 17 years of marriage, Marisa has never asked for anything materialistic.  Her dream though, has been to have a practical art studio where she can have plenty of space to spread her artistic wings and be more creative.  In April, she finally got her wish.  This is Maribella Studio in its unpainted rough form.  And guess what?  There is an indoor stairwell leading up to Lanky's Loft, which will become my writer's room!  Click the image for photos of the inside.  Our dogs are not happy, since the structure covers part of their frisbee chasing area!
