Because, from childhood on, I have held this holy season dear, this week I've decided to jot my own Story from the Heart. Because it's a season of gift-giving, I'm offering my soul-based gratitude to you for the many gifts you send in. "What gifts?" you ask.
Your many e-mails and handwritten notes telling me you love the Newsletter are treasures to me. I hold them dear. Late last year when it looked as though the Newsletter had come to an end, I received countless e-mails from people I didn't even know, volunteering to keep it alive! The person who graciously accepted the 'job,' is someone I've known for some time, has years of experience doing things like this, and, to put it in terms you'll fully understand: We laugh in the same places! So, without even a break, the Newsletter continued. When I sent out the good news, again I received many Congratulatory messages! "Hooray!" was a common one! You've got to know how your responses touched me. Thank you.
The Stories that continue to arrive often bring joy-filled tears to my eyes. What gracious souls you are! All of you have vastly differing backgrounds and experiences, and that you are willing to share them touches me deeply. It also touches many of our readers. I've never met most of you and probably never will. For taking time to let me---and readers around the world---know how this technology has changed your life, I offer you the soul-based gift of my ongoing Thanks.
Some of you have joined our Alphabetical Prayer Circle. For those of you who haven't, I'd like to share the prayer we offer each day; it takes about 10 seconds. I leave you with the invitation to say it with us; I've modified it a bit for you---in brackets:
