Message from the Chair

It's 49 days till November 6th, but it is only 28 days till the voting by Mail-in ballot might start. Please help all of our candidates by requesting a mail-in ballot from the County Clerk and voting for all of our candidates as soon as you receive your ballot. Get off the potential voter list and go get a few votes yourself. You can check your status and sign up for a mail-in ballot at Larimer.org/elections.

We have two fundraisers this week. One for Steve Ludwig at Charlotte Miller's tomorrow, Wednesday, September 19th. Colorado University Regent Steve Ludwig is running for re-election and joins President Obama as the only other Democrat that will appear on every ballot in the state. Representative John Kefalas is throwing a fundraiser for his Senate District 14 campaign on Sunday, September 23rd. See the details below.

I'm pleased to announce that the Larimer County Democrats and Avogadro's Number are hosting a watch party on October 3rd for the Denver University debate between your Commander -in- Chief, Barack Obama, and their chief financier, Governor Romney. Please join us for dinner at Avo's before the 7 pm kickoff.

--William Russell

"The magnitude of our social problems will require that all citizens and institutions make a commitment to volunteering as a way of life and as a primary opportunity to create needed change."

--George Romney,
former Michigan governor
