Message from the Chair

I would like to congratulate our very own Senator Bob Bacon with being honored with the 2012 Friend of Higher Education Award by the American Association of University Professors, Colorado Conference. Senator Bacon has served on the Senate Education Committee since 2004, has chaired this committee since 2009, and has worked for us all by defending sustainable funding for Colorado's higher education institutions. Thank you, Senator!

Please support Representative John Kefalas this Saturday at his low budget fundraiser at Avo's, and your candidate for House District 52, Joann Ginal, at her Barackfest on Sunday. These candidates are doing great and it's time for everyone to catch up and fire up the campaigns. See the details below.

Our visionary Larimer County Commissioners reversed their previous stance on the sale of fireworks this year and decided that Larimer County is too dry for fireworks. I guess there is a problem after all. Without bringing up all the other obvious problems that these three Commissioners are ignoring (OK, just one: Fracking), I would like to suggest that everyone go to KarenStockley.com and wish Karen Happy Birthday and Good Luck in her race for Larimer County Commissioner by clicking on that red donate button.
