Message from the Chair
With the hills smoking and charcoal dropping on my back stoop, it's pretty hard to stay on message this week. We have events for Representative Kefalas, Congressman Polis and Joann Ginal to highlight. Read below for the details and step out for your candidates even though we're thinking about the firefighters and other first responders working to save life and property just a few miles to our west. Give those serve and protect heroes the legislators they need to continue serving and protecting.

Senator Mark Udall is pressing for new planes and modernizing the aging equipment we need to deal with these threats. Congressman Jared Polis toured part of the burn area with Fort Collins Councilwoman Lisa Poppaw on Monday to survey the disaster for himself. Governor Hickenlooper has made 20 million dollars of emergency funding available. And Senator Michael Bennet's team is starting to mobilize for the recovery,  click here for a list of the resources available to Larimer County residents.

All of your electeds serve you, especially during the inevitable natural disaster. We have one now; please use the links on our website to keep our officials informed of your family's story. They can help, and they will.
