Message from the Chair

The Colorado Legislature finishes their work today, and Representative John Kefalas will go to the voters this Saturday for feedback and constituent outreach. This is the first big walk day of the election season for one of our local candidates. Please join John in his work to continue the legacy of great public service in Colorado Senate District 14. See the details below and sign up.

There are elections around the country today that mean a great deal to our work in presenting Democratic values and producing better public policy. While we are waiting for news, don't forget to vote in the elections in your own backyard. The elections for the Board of Directors for the Northern Larimer County Health District are today. There are polls at two locations: The Health District offices at 120 Bristlecone Drive in north Fort Coliins or the Spirit of Joy Church in south Fort Collins. The current board incumbents, Dr. Bernie Birnbaum and Dr. Steve Thorsen, have done some good work delivering basic preventive care to some of our county's under insured and underserved residents and they need your vote. The polls close today at 7:00 p.m.

--William Russell

"If people ask you what this campaign is about,
you tell them it's still about hope. It's still about change.
It's still about ordinary people who believe
that in the face of the greatest odds,
we can make a difference in the life of this country."

--President Barack Obama
