Message from the Chair
Tonight Congressman Polis will visit Fort Collins at a house party hosted Robert and Ann Molison. Stop by and show your support for your new representative, see the details below.
Senator Bacon, Representative Randy Fischer and Representative John Kefalas, will host their final town hall meeting of the legislative session this Saturday. This would be a good chance to ask questions about this session and offer some input on the Long Bill, please see the details below. The Larimer County Democrats are sending their delegation to Pueblo this weekend to the Colorado Democratic Party Convention and Assembly. Everybody that signed up at our Convention and Assembly is a delegate to this meeting. This is the same venue where we saw Ann Richards speak in 2004. She was spectacular and I'm sure they are trying to book another knockout speech this year. The county fairgrounds have a political rally feel about them and I hope everybody comes home fired up and ready to go. --William Russell
Ann Richards on How to Be a Good Republican: "1. You have to believe that the nation's current 8-year prosperity was due to the work of Ronald Reagan and George Bush, but yesterday's gasoline prices are all Clinton's fault. 2. You have to believe that those privileged from birth achieve success all on their own.
3. You have to be against all government programs, but expect Social Security checks on time." --Ann Richards
