Message from the Chair

The locations for the Larimer County Democratic caucuses are posted on our website. You can check to see if you're one of the lucky people who have a new precinct number by going to Larimer.org/elections and clicking on Am I registered? The link to this is also on our website.

We are consolidating our caucus sites this year so that we can give Congressman Jared Polis a chance to meet as many of Larimer's Democrats as possible and to save money, of course. The business we have to accomplish this year is to elect delegates to our convention/assembly, and two neighborhood precinct committee people from each precinct.  

Senator Bob Bacon, Rep. Randy Fischer and Rep. John Kefalas are hosting their second town hall meeting of the legislative session this Saturday and Congressman Polis is visiting Berthoud early next week. Please see the details below.

Democrats across Colorado will caucus on Tuesday, March 6. Precinct numbers and boundaries have changed. Visit www.Larimer.org/elections 
and click on Am I Registered? to find your new precinct number. Visit
www.LarimerDems.org to find your caucus location and more caucus information.

Silent Auction Donations
It's time to put together those wine baskets, good books, gift certificates, business services, craft items, jewelry, gift cards, vacation time-shares, etc. for the Silent Auction at the 2012 Larimer County Democrats Annual Dinner. Our Silent Auction helps us make this important fund raiser even more successful.
Donations can be delivered to the Larimer County Democrats office, 606 South Mason, Fort Collins during office hours or to the Shaffer Law office, 218 East Sixth Street, Loveland between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm weekdays.

Please join Reps. Fischer and Kefalas and Sen. Bacon for their second Town Hall Meeting of the 2012 legislative session. They will be sharing their latest legislative news and openly taking your questions. In addition, they will be seeking feedback and questions from those in attendance about any issues that constituents might have.

DBC Luncheon: Monisha Merchant

Monisha Merchant, Senior Business Advisor to Senator Michael Bennet, will present the February 14th luncheon program for the Democratic Business Coalition. Her primary focus is on support of the Colorado business community and economic development. Previously, Monisha was a Senior Director of Product Management at Level 3 Communications, a Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and a Senior Engineer at Lucent Technologies. At the Feb 14 program, Monisha will address local and national initiatives and policy issues, as well as receive input on federal issues.
This event is open to the public.
