Message from the Chair
The Colorado Supreme Court issued their ruling on the Congressional districts of Colorado on Monday. Larimer County will be in the 2nd Congressional district next year. This new district will extend from Evergreen to Eagle to Estes Park and will include all of our county. The current district is served ably by Congressman Jared Polis. This new district will be a dynamic community that boasts some of Colorado's finest institutions of higher education, most innovative employers and awe inspiring environmental treasures. I spoke with Congressman Polis yesterday and he is excited by the opportunity to serve Larimer County in the U.S. House of Representatives. I'm excited by the notion that our middle class families will get the representation and support they deserve from their Congressman.
Senator Bacon, Representatives Fischer and Kefalas will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting at the Readers Cove Bookstore on the upcoming legislative session this Saturday. This will be a very important session and your hardworking legislators need to hear from you. Please see the details below.
-William Russell

"I'm pleased that the redistricting process has finally concluded.
Fort Collins, Loveland and the cities and towns of the new 2nd District
are dynamic, wonderful communities that I would be honored to serve
in the new Congress. I am particularly pleased to have the
chance to represent two of our state's finest universities, including the new
businesses their presence helps create, as we work
to provide
jobs and opportunities to all Coloradans."

-Congressman Jared Polis
