Message from the Chair

We can't change the litany of "No" that will remain as the legislative legacy of the Republican majorities in the U.S. and Colorado House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013. You know the song... No Jobs, No Health Care, No Education. This is because some Democratic representatives lost close elections in 2010. In fact, we lost the majority in the State House by one seat-and that seat was within 197 votes. We lost majorities in these bodies, and the consequences have been difficult for middle class families who come last in a Republican agenda of welfare for the wealthiest and corporate special interests.

We owe our children a plan to counter the general decay and disparity offered by the party of "No." The Democratic plan is TBTH-Take Back the House.  We can roll back the Republican assault on the middle class by winning elections in 2012 by Taking Back the House.

This Sunday, December 4, Larimer County Democrats can help by supporting the House Majority Project at this month's Barackfast.  Please support your representatives, Randy Fischer and John Kefalas. Please help the working families across the state by funding the work the House Majority Project is doing. To TBTH, see the details below.

--William Russell

"I can't begin to tell you how much a change in leadership in the legislature
is vital to Colorado's economic recovery, while charting a future that
protects education funding, protects public health from polluters, and promotes equality for all Coloradans. To make that change happen,
we need a support system that help our candidates win in 2012.
Please join me in support of the House Majority Project!"
--State Rep. Randy Fischer

It takes a statewide view of Coloado politics by funneling financial and strategic resources to targeted candidates and campaigns. It analyzes data, recruits and trains candidates, and provides support to targeted Democrats. By helping us regain the majority in the State House of Representatives, HMP donors are ensuring a sustainable future the creates opportunity for all Coloradans.
