Message from the Chair
Tomorrow night the President's local team is throwing a grand opening for its new headquarters at 401 S. Mason, in downtown Fort Collins. This is a great location, just a few yards north of the 2008 headquarters. There will be a presentation on the plans to organize Larimer County and turn out the vote for President Obama. Please come on down and hear what you can do to help create jobs and put America back to work by contributing your energy to the President's re-election in 2012. See the details below. On a somber note, one of our best friends, former Treasurer and Volunteer Coordinator, Lynn Alldrin, has encountered some serious health problems. Lynn has spent many years volunteering for candidates and the Larimer County Dems, and has always had very modest means, partially because of her commitments to the rest of us. Lou Anderson is organizing some help for Lynn, please call Lou at 224-5018, or Julie Lechtanski at 232-9683 to help with the fundraiser or make a donation. Lou has also set up an email, friendsoflynnalldrin@gmail.com. I'm going to make a contribution for all the things she has given me and my family; I hope you'll do the same. --William Russell
"That's not putting people back to work. I trust in God, but God wants to see us help ourselves by putting people back to work." --President Obama
