Sledge Slams!
Welcome to Crossfit St. Charles

Greetings!

To all athletes...

Out of respect for our coaches, please remember to sign up for classes. If there is no one signed up for a class then there will be NO CLASS! Don't count on someone else to sign up, take care of your own business!

No Rep-tember
Sometimes, when the clock is going, form is sacrificed for time.  We must never forget why we do the movements we do. They are organic and designed to make us better, stronger, faster. The clock ticks to inspire us, it does not define our workouts.
This month we focus on form. Prior to each wod the standard of movements will be reviewed. During the wod each rep will be done to the satisfaction of the coach.
If you hear "NO REP!" we'll tell you why, and you'll do it again.
Child Care
Parents, We are finding that we're having lots of little ones at our busiest classes. Previously the kids who were old enough would just hang out in the child care room. Often times they end up hanging around in the pull up cage or on some of the equipment. I don't really blame them, that room is lame compared to what is going on in the gym.  In an effort to keep our kids safe and occupied, I will have a sitter available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My goal is for the sitter to direct the kids through some Crossfit style activites. Maybe help them sleep well when they get home!
There will be a "Tip Jar" available for donations to that evenings sitter. Please consider rewarding her efforts!
