Greetings!


It is amazing the number of ultrasonic electronic devices to stop unwanted behaviors.  Some are not harsh and can work to stop behaviors.  The problem is they can often cause other behavior problems such as increasing anxiety, arousal, or even aggression.  The possibility of back firing behavior tools is important to be aware of - read my article and find out about an interesting case.   

 

Proper greetings according to how this pet likes to be greeted is so important in reducing pet stress during exams.  Have you ever had a nice dog suddenly lunge out at you?  It can really be a problem.  When a patient gets you at hello, it can be very traumatic to both the staff as well as the pet.  Learn how to improve those greetings to have a better experience.
