This is a reminder that the cut-off date to book your room, at the special rate of $89.00 + taxes, for the ROWONTARIO Training Conference and AGM is Friday November 18. To make reservations, call (905) 858-2424. . Please quote ROWONTARIO as your group. Our rate is only available through phone booking.  
 

 Our block is being held until November 18th. Room availability cannot be guaranteed after this date.  

 ROWONTARIO will reimburse $89.00 + tax for one night's accommodation for one room per member club. For this subsidy to apply, the club representative must attend the December 4th Annual General Meeting and the club must be a member in good standing. After the event, the club seeking reimbursement shall submit the hotel receipt to the ROWONTARIO office by December 15, 2011. Claims received after December 15, 2011 will not be considered for re-imbursement. Receipts can be scanned and emailed to admin@rowontario.ca or faxed to 416-426-7309. 

All clubs are requested to complete the annual club report form and submit to ROWONTARIO by Sunday November 27 to admin@rowontario.ca . These reports will be posted to the ROWONTARIO website and included in the Training Conference and AGM booklet. Please DO NOT fax your report.

Any club not able to send a club delegate to the Annual General Meeting on December 4th is requested to please complete the 2011 AGM Proxy Form and assign their proxy vote to another member club in good standing or their District Representative.  Completed proxy forms must be submitted to the ROWONTARIO office by 12 Noon December 1, 2011 or presented at the AGM registration desk on December 4, between 8:00 and 8:45am.

Notice of Proposed Amendments to ORA Constitution:

In accordance with Article XXIII of the Ontario Rowing Association Constitution, notice is hereby given that the proposed amendments outlined in the attached document will be presented at the next Annual General Meeting of the Ontario Rowing Association (ROWONTARIO) for approval by the membership.  As stipulated in Article XXIII, the constitution may be amended only by a two-thirds (2/3) vote at the Annual General Meeting.

The next Annual General Meeting will be held December 4th, 2011 at the Four Points by Sheraton Mississauga Meadowvale, located at 2501 Argentia Road, Mississauga, Ontario, L5N 4C8.
