Sports Day in Canada has arrived!

Sports Day Website

CBC Sports, ParticipACTION, and True Sport have teamed up to present Sports Day in Canada. Sports Day, September 17, will be the culmination of a week-long, nationwide celebration of sport.

In the days leading up to Sports Day, clubs and organizations all over the country will be showing Canadians what they have to offer. To coincide with the 2nd Annual Sports Day in Canada festivities, ROWONTARIO is encouraging members to open your boathouses for an Open House and/or Try- It Day during the week of September 10-17, 2011.

Once you've decided on an event, register it on the Sports Day website athttp://sportsday.cbc.ca/home The details of your event will be added to the list on the Sports Day website. You will also have access to customizable tools to promote your event.

Jersey Day- As part of Sports Day in Canada, every Canadian is being encouraged to wear a favorite sports jersey to work or school. on Friday September 16 join by wearing your club colours or favorite rowing shirt!
