Volunteers are needed for a study for sport participation after acquiring a disability in adulthood.
We are interested in learning how athletic identity and other factors influence the amount of sport participation individuals get after they experience a disabling injury/illness. Your participation would involve completing two short questionnaires (20 minutes and 5 minutes) either by phone or through an online survey (
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZY9HMCX). As a token of appreciation, we are offering a $5 Shoppers Drug Mart card after each interview. If you would like further information, please feel free to contact MJ at

Adaptive Rowing Workshop a HUGE success!
June 11th and 12th saw over 30 rowers and coaches from across Canada and the US assembled at the Argonaut Rowing Club boathouse on the shore of Lake Ontario for a weekend of adaptive rowing. Building on almost 10 years of growth, fueled by a gold medal at last year's Rowing World Championships, and driven by dreams of the 2012 Paralympics in London, England, adaptive rowing is growing in Ontario and across Canada.
The weekend was organized by the ROWONTARIO Adaptive Committee and made possible by grants from Rowing Canada Aviron and the Coaches Association of Ontario - three groups with a strong history of support for adaptive rowing.
Highlights of the weekend event included participation from the SoldierOn program supporting wounded veterans, new rowers and coaches from across Ontario, and training with the gold medal winning Canadian Adaptive National Team and their coach.
Special thank you to Thomas Merritt and the Adaptive Committee for organizing and running this weekend.
For information on adaptive rowing in your area visit the ROWONTARIO web site.
