Circus Performers Make Some Noise!

Columbus Park will be alive with buskers on Aug 4! Kids will love the balloon artist, the living statue, the caricaturist, the clown, and the juggler! Join the fun and see the rest of this 16-wk performance series here , including the TImberlane Swing Band on Aug 18. Bring a picnic, a blanket or a chair for these free performances.

River Ruckus Returns
| Haverhill's annual celebration of the river returns this month, better than ever. Antique Car Show, the Windham Swing Band, children's activities, pontoon boat rides on the river, expanded Artisans' Market, community mural painting, US Air Force Jazz Band, and the Grand Finale Fireworks, first time ever on the river! Free Antique Trolley shuttle to and from parking lots to the heart of the action. Fun for the whole family!

The Storefront Art Project is accepting submissions in all media for this exciting mail art fundraiser. All submissions will be exhibited from September through the holiday season. Show us what you got, Haverhill! Your 4" x 6" postcards will go on sale at the Christmas Stroll on 12/2. Proceeds benefit the Storefront Art Project. Check out what these folks did. It's cool, it's easy and anyone can participate. So put on your creative self and support the arts in Haverhill.

Can You Say Chowda-at-the-Castle?

Sample chowders from the region's finest restaurants and caterers and vote for your favorite! The 4th Annual Chowderfest will be offering the very best recipes again this year. There will be fun for all ages, including children's activities, a bouncy house, and great live entertainment. Get there early as sampling stops at 3:30 so that the official judging can begin. Big band music by Itchy Feet, a very special steel drum performance by PJ Adamson & Friends, & the incomparable B Street Bombers will rock the Castle. Proceeds benefit the Winnekenni Foundation so they can continue offering so many free, family events.

STUART WEITZMAN TO PAINT THE TOWN

International shoe designer Stuart Weitzman will participate in the Essex St Gateway Mural community paint session on August 18. Join him and other dignitaries who will lend a hand with this new landmark in Haverhill. You can too! It's free, fun, and if you miss it, there's another paint session during River Ruckus.
