KidSport Ottawa Receives $15,000 Wonder Cares Grant

KidSport Ottawa is very excited to be working with Wonder+ Cares (George Weston Ltd) to ensure opportunities for under resourced children to participate in regular sport programming. According to results gathered from the Canadian Health Measures Survey, "only 9% of boys and 4% of girls meet the new Canadian Physical Activity Guidelines" which state that "for health benefits, children and youth should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity daily." Working together, we will provide sport programming for both boys and girls. Thank you Wonder+ Cares!
