Future Jobs in TECH
|
Every factory needs a machinist to operate it, whether it's to operate machines or to create machine parts. And machinists also create molds and casings to make plastic parts that are used in everyday products, such as computers and cell phones, said Free.
It takes about a year in trade school to become a machinist, followed by a few years of apprenticeship at a manufacturing facility, said Free.
Machinists make about $60,000 a year. But with many logging overtime lately, Free said that income can get close to $100,000 a year.

Arduino Robotics grade 11 Curriculum is complete
| Heritage Christian Online School and Gateways Learning Centre have partnered on building a Robotics grade 11 curriculum. Gateways has finished the curriculum and HCOS is now preparing it for it's students.
Gateways will also be offering this curriculum to its students and will have it online soon. We are offering offering a spring camp with Laszlo as the teacher. The great thing about arduino is that it's cheap. You can buy an arduino kit from us for $100 and add on to it as you learn.
This stuff is going to change how everything is done...trust me. Why not be on the front of this robotics revolution that is coming?
If you are interested in buying seats to this program or using it for your school, please contact me at our office; 1-604-756-0375 (long distance for Vancouverites) or email me at andrew@i-gate.ca.

Business Partnership
| I am looking to remove myself from the day to day operations and would like to find a suitable business partner that would like to join and build with us. I have a lot of great idea for inventions and programs, but find myself too immersed in the operations of this business and would love to hire a Managing director so they could take over the operations and I could step back and breathe.
As a business partner, I would love to find someone who is compassionate, loves kids, is passionate about TECH, has a great track record with business and has some money >$75,000 to invest in our company.
We could franchise this business and build an international operations. We currently work with the ASIA market and host Chinese camps from a prestigious school in Beijing. Our international business manager, speaks 5 languages and has lived in Singapore for 20 years. We also have programs running in Richmond, Vancouver and Burnaby, so we have a great start. Now we need the financing to grow this company and take us to the next level.
If this sounds like you or someone you know.
Please call 604-302-1496.
Thanks!
