Multiple Intelligences 3
|
Have you ever wondered why your child doesn't like to sit and do his/her work like most of the other kids in the room? They like to wonder from desk to desk, talking with the other kids and finding out what's new in everyone's world?
Then chances are, your son or daughter is interpersonally smart!
- In the Working Together Center (Interpersonal Intelligence), they develop cooperative learning skills as they solve problems, answer questions, create learning games, brainstorm ideas and discuss that day's topic collaboratively.
I had this student in one of my lego classes and he didn't come to build lego. He came to talk to all the other students and to find about what they were building and what was new in their lives. This student did great when we did collaborated together as a team and worked as one. What are some great potential careers for your son or daughter? Entrepreneurs, Social events coordinators, Sales, Business Development, and other people orientated jobs. Standardized Testing - What kind of future are we building? |

That post was written by veteran educator Marion Brady, who said he did not name the board member to save him from mean personal attacks by critics. The board member, however, agreed to talk to me about the experience on the record because he has come to feel very strongly about the issue.
The man in question is Rick Roach, who is in his fourth four-year term representing District 3 on the Board of Education in Orange County, Fl., a public school system with 180,000 students. Roach took a version of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test, commonly known as the FCAT, earlier this year.
