Following Your Consultation
Whether you have undergone a Driver or Iron Fitting at Precision Golf, we are dedicated to ensuring that everything is working as expected. Therefore, you are most welcome to return to us at any time (provided you book of course) for any of the following reasons:
- Club not performing as expected
- To add new or additional equipment to the bag
- To check equipment set-up and performance i.e. loft & lie or shaft suitability
It is important to maintain these regular checks as during the course of your golf, things can change. Whether it is because you are improving your technique or simply that during the course of play and practice the clubs have moved out of position, as loft & lie angles can move through hitting off practise mats or playing on hard ground conditions.
We also offer many additional services to provide a complete experience ranging from the following:
- Trackman Club Gapping
- Loft & Lie Analysis
- Re-gripping
- Hand stamping Initials on Wedges & Putter
- Grip assessment

Jack starts on the left foot!
Jack Symons has joined our team at Precision Golf this summer. Jack is a PGA Qualified professional golfer with a sound knowledge of swing related issues and a passion for club fitting.
Having known Simon for the past 15 years, and working part-time at Precision Golf for the last year, we are sure his combination of skills will inevitably make Jack a popular advisor on equipment matters and hope that you all get the chance to make his acquaintance on your visit to us.
Jack is also left handed, so for all you Phil Mickelson wannabe's, he is well equipped to discuss your needs. |

How Does LOFT Affect Your Performance?
With the changes in course design and equipment, the types of clubs being used by players of all standards is changing. Many amateur players still have 3 irons and sometimes 2 irons in their bag, however we are seeing more and more that even Tour players are dropping these clubs from their bag in favour of lofted woods or hybrid clubs. Most notably in the recent US Open Championship was YE Yang playing 6 woods/hybrids in his bag.

Know Your Yardages & Don't Let LOFT Affect Your Perfomance!
One of the areas that Amateur golfers are worst at is clubbing themselves properly. Go on Tour and you will see every player with a yardage book and notes on exactly how far they hit each club. Almost all amateur players take a guess when it comes to distances, normally remembering the best shot they ever hit with a particular club and measuring themselves off that rather than basing it on their average hit - as a result most player's shots tend to come up short unless they hit a career shot.
