The seasons are changing, the holidays are approaching and many of us are getting restless. Does Christmas in Darjeeling and NYE in Kathmandu sound enticing? The UK paper 'The Guardian' thinks so. They rated our 'Christmas Escape' to Nepal/India tour as one of the world's top 10 moto tours! To celebrate we're offering an early holiday gift to you~ a saving of US$500 on our 'Christmas Escape' tour. The offer ends in five days, so contact us this week!

Saffron Road has been in the press recently with a five-page article in Latitude (NZ) - 'Something of a Nomad' (aka Phillipa); Nepal charity ride coverage in Two Wheels (AUS); The Ulyssian (NZ); Ulysses (AUS/Melb.); US Motorcycle Cruiser (USA); Road Rider (AUS); NZ Doctor (NZ) and Motosports Newswire (USA). Click here to access our latest press release featuring our Nepal charity ride to share with your moto organization or local news outlet.

So how about celebrating Christmas wit
h a cup of tea (along with other more exciting beverages!) in Darjeeling, and kicking-up your heels at New Year festivities in exotic Kathmandu? Or deserting the hum-drum life for a desert excursion in colourful Rajasthan?

With our next three tours, you could be doing all of the above.

15 Day: Charity Ride Nepal (20th November): raising funds and awareness for the Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the hospital and volunteer if they choose (read more below). Tour photos.

24 Day: Christmas Escape (18th December): from Calcutta in the east of India, to Delhi in the west and traveling the breadth of Nepal, you'll get to spend Christmas in Darjeeling and New Year in Kathmandu. Memories for a lifetime. TO SAVE US$500 book by Sept. 30th. Tour photos.

19 Day: Rajasthan Royalty (12th January): the land of kings and warriors, of mighty fortresses and incredible palaces, of desert landscapes and ancient cities. Rajasthan is a kaleidoscope of vivid colour, ancient splendour, vibrant music and exuberant life. Tour photos.

Let's celebrate the holidays this year doing what we love... being out there on a motorcycle!

Ride the dream!

Nepal Charity Ride For Leprosy Prevention

'Wheels Within Wheels'

Our lovely 15 day charity ride through Nepal is just two months away! We have a wonderful group of clients joining us, but there is room for a few more so now is your opportunity to reserve your spot.

Although not joining us on the tour, we were humbled by Mike and Becky's generous cash donation to buy two generators for 'Sewa Kendra Leprosy Relief' and school! Also an optometrist from Timaru (NZ) donated a whole box of spectacles for us to take to Nepal. From $40 blackboards to $800 water filtration systems, your cash donations will make a difference. Please click here to donate and learn more about distribution of funds.

Note: Few people realise leprosy is a completely curable disease - just with a course of antibiotics. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the leprosy hospital in Kathmandu and outreach clinics in remote areas.
