Daily Walk 5.20.10:
God Already Knows What is Going to Happen, Part 3
It Just So Happens...
If you have a friend who could use a word of encouragement today, please forward this Daily Walk to them. We currently have around 500 individuals on our mailing list. We'd like for that number to grow to 1000. Help us get there by clicking the forward tab at the bottom of this Devotional and sending it to a friend.

It Just So Happens...
A year or so back, Luis Palau's son, Andrew Palau held an Evangelistic Festival in Myrtle Beach. One of the out takes was a surfing clinic by Noah Snyder and Jesse Hines. Nate and Ian and I were loading the car to go to the clinic when I said, "Hey guys, would you like to meet Andrew Palau today?" They each expressed interest in doing so and I said, "I'll hook you up."
There were two problems. 1. I do not know Andrew Palau and 2. I had no hook up.
I was attempting to be funny. Well, we went to the beach and on our way back to the car we stopped by the shower in the parking lot to shower off.
A man and with two kids was standing at the shower. We begin a conversation. He asked if we enjoyed the clinic. We spoke affirmatively. Suddenly, it dawned on me that Nate, Ian and I were talking with Andrew Palau. We finished our brief exchange and on the way to the car I looked at Nate and Ian and said, "See, I told you I have connections."
Well, the next section of the Donkey saga with Saul reminds me of that serendipitous encounter. After the Perhaps moment, the servant and Saul head into town to try to find this prophet dude named Samuel. They pass some teenage girls and ask them if they know where the sage might be found.
1 Samuel 9:12 "They answered them and said, 'He is; see, he is ahead of you. Hurry now, for he has come into the city today, for the people have a sacrifice on the high place today.'"
In other words, It Just So Happens....that he is just over there.
What serendipitous divine appointment might be awaiting you today. Open your eyes and ask God to guide your steps. He already is.
