Walk in a Manner Worthy of the Lord
|
Our walk with Christ is reflected in how we treat others. This morning I read through the short book of Ephesians (It is 6 chapters). The kindness of the Lord is referred to several times along with His love, grace, peace, and mercy. In reading Paul's words, I became convicted of my lack of those same words or there reality in how I respond to Joan and the kids.
The verses above became my prayer and my reminder of who God has called me to be. Like Paul: 1. I am a prisoner of Christ. 2. I have a responsibility to walk in a way that honors Him. 3. I am called by God. 4. I am to model humility. 5. I am to be gentle. 6. I am to be patient. 7. I am to demonstrate tolerance. 8. I am to show love. 9. I am to model unity. 10. I am to be at peace.
If we keep these in mind, our spouses, family, friends, and strangers will take notice that we have been with Jesus.
