Miss Phoenix, Whitney Thomas

Whitney Thomas

Miss Phoenix 2012

Miss Phoenix volunteers at A New Leaf because of her passion for helping victims of domestic violence.

As a contestant in the Miss America program, she has chosen this as her platform and outlet for volunteering. She helps the Development Department with securing sponsorships and donations for the shelter programs.

Who says the average special event fundraiser has a life of five years? Well,

A New Leaf's volunteers and supporters

think otherwise with the Annual Camaraderie holding its recent gala for the 28th year. WOW!

Thanks to you and our sponsors, this event grows more exciting every year and the net proceeds make a staggering impact on our shelters. Be sure to read more about Camaraderie 2012 in this issue.

A New Leaf's Supportive Housing Initiative has been making headlines with our exciting plans to develop quality housing for our Mesa Community and the former homeless. Click below to see our progress. Thanks for your continued support!
