It's thanksgiving this month and every month throughout the year at A New Leaf. When I consider all the new opportunities that community partners and supporters help us to provide, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
A New Leaf is opening a new home for youth! With some of our government offices occasionally having children sleep on their floors, this seemed like the best time to do so. This residence will be ready for children from Child Protective Services (CPS) in time for Thanksgiving. Through numerous donations and groups of volunteers, we were able to prepare the home and begin a second program to house and nurture additional children. Thanks to you and our remarkable community, the opportunites to enhance services for those in need continues to grow at A New Leaf.
