Nothing pulls at our heartstrings like opening A New Leaf's Autumn House & Faith House Domestic Violence or LaMesita Family Homeless shelters' doors to abused children. Abuse comes in many forms:

·         Physical or emotional harm

·         Neglect

·         Life's circumstances

·         Unexpected tragedies

There are so many different ways that you can help:

·         When you suspect abuse, get involved. If it's a close family member or loved one, don't let fear hold you back from lovingly confronting the issues.

·         If you find a parent, guardian or other who is causing harm to a child, call Child Protective Services or your local police department.

·         You can also help these neglected, abused children through A New Leaf by :

Ø  Making a one-time or monthly reoccurring financial gifts

Ø  Coordinating one of our 5 annual donation drives

Ø  Donating volunteer hours
