Holiday Gift Box Program

 

This holiday season, we are asking that you fill one (or as many as your group can) "Gift Boxes."  Below, you'll find a breakdown of the most requested/needed items for these boxes that will best serve our individuals and families living in our shelters throughout the holidays and into the next year.

 

On behalf of those we serve, we thank you sincerely for your kindness and for helping the individuals and families living in shelter care who are striving to be self-sufficient.

Gift Cards for:

q  Food (any grocery stores $25-$100 values)

q  Clothing/shoes ($25 per person)

New Items only

q  1 Queen & 2 Twin white/ light colored, plain sheet sets

q  4 Bath Towels

q  Kitchen Towel/dishcloth/sponge/potholders

q  Laundry and Dish Soap

q  Toiletries:  shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste/deodorant

q  Anti-bacterial soap/lotion, etc

q  Pillows

Extra Items

q  Pots and pans

q  Set of plastic dishes and cups

q  Tableware

q  Vinyl shower curtain sets with rings

q  Plastic food and drink storage containers

q  Hand-held can openers

 

Note: 

*Please do not wrap gifts.  Tape original list to the lid with contents checked off if included. Gift cards should be placed in one envelope inside bin (no cash please).

*All deliveries due by 4pm on Thursday, Dec 09, 2010

P.S. Rest assured that the children living in our shelters will still be receiving their much desired toys as well. We have several organizations working to provide the little extras that put a smile on their faces.
