This workshop will help business owners understand the basics of selling to the government and private industry. It will highlight steps to show them how to get set, ready and positioned to pursue opportunities and will provide technical resources that will give attendees the support networks to skillfully secure and perform contracts for government and private industry.
Saundra Jackson of the SBA will share information to get businesses set and prepared for federal government contracting as well as information on procurements available to small and disadvantage businesses alike. Russell Toone, University of Tennessee Procurement Technical Assistance Center, will seal the entire workshop with key pointers on how to successfully market and build relationships with buyers and contracting officers as well as providing information on the UT Center for Procurement Technical Assistance.
